LCA-01
Signal generator to drive (age) LCD cells

Signal generator for aging multiple LCD cells at low costs.
Quick-mount of LCD cells. Operation in a high temperature chamber.
The LCA-01 is a signal generator to burn-in or age LCD panels used for cellular phones or digital cameras. It contains devices such as power supplies, signal generators and mechanical contacts for that purpose. By replacing a contact stage the LCA-01 also can drive LCD modules. Timing and video signals can be created in the unit of one clock of a master clock, which enables creating and editing any timing signals quickly and easily. 3 channels of DC power supplies are integrated. Test signals are made in the combination of one (1) timing signal, three (3) drive modes and eight (8) video signals in up to eight (8) test steps. Signal generator circuits or mechanical contacts can be customized upon request.
- Ideal for aging LCD panels on production lines.
- Thin, light-weight and compact design.
- Corresponds with small size panels (e.g. ones for view finders) to middle size panels (e.g. ones for PDA).
- Driving multiple LCD panels at the same time.
- Drive signals or video patterns can be changed only by replacing an EEPROM in the device.
- Drive signals or video patterns can be edited with an external PC and be written on an EEPROM.
- A simple positioning mechanism facilitated mounting LCD cells, which reduces cycle time.
- The LCA-01 chassis can be piled together.
