OFDM Signal Processor
For Retransmission to CATV Facilities.
The OSP-01 is a device to receive OFDM terrestrial digital television broadcasting and converts the frequencies to the same or a different channel after adjusting output levels for retransmission.
Configuration for 7 channels are as below (shown in the above picture):

*Two power supplies are integrated to the sub rack chassis as a standard configuration.
- The OSP-01 corresponds with the pass-through system, which transmits terrestrial digital broadcasting signals without changing the modulation system, and enables retransmission to CATV facilities.
*Compliance with JCL-SPEC-006 and JCTEA STD-011. - The device meets two types of pass-through systems;
- Retransmission from the same channel as the receiving channel
- Retransmission from a different channel after converting frequencies
*The input/output channel will be programmed and be fixed on shipping. - The output signal level will be kept at a certain level with the AGC circuit. Level of output signals can be adjusted individually.
- The SAW filter eliminates noises from neighboring channels, which realizes high quality channel transmission.
- In the event transmission from the channel under use terminates, the squelch circuit minimizes amplification of noises, so there will be no noise interference to other neighboring channels.
